Overview of bar coating machines
A wire-bar coater is a machine designed to apply coatings onto a substrate, forming a solid, continuous film consisting of one or more layers. Typically, the coating film produced by a wire-bar coater comprises multiple layers-the specific number of which is determined by the requirements of the object being coated. These layers generally include a primer, an intermediate coat, and a topcoat. The resulting coating film serves to demonstrate the combined performance and efficacy of the specific coating system employed.
The wire-bar coater is entirely developed and manufactured in-house by Fu'an. It features CNC-controlled adjustment of coating gap and speed, as well as digital display-assisted fine-tuning of film thickness-innovations that represent a first among comparable products in its class. Constructed entirely from 304 stainless steel, the unit comes with a comprehensive two-year warranty. It is primarily supplied to leading institutions such as Peking University, Nanjing University, Fudan University, and the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology.
