Our Doctor Blade, Slot Die & Micro-Gravure Coating Machine is a medium-sized laboratory sampling equipment independently developed by our company. Adopting high-precision modular design, it supports flexible switching among three coating modes: comma doctor blade, slot die and micro-gravure.

It is available for continuous coating sampling or small-batch production. Hot melt pressure-sensitive adhesive can be directly coated onto heat-resistant substrates. Alternatively, the adhesive can be coated onto release liner first, then the adhesive film can be transferred and laminated onto various face materials, such as paper, plastic films, metal films, etc.

1.The Doctor Blade, Slot Die & Micro-Gravure Coating Machine with 2m Oven integrates three mainstream coating methods: comma doctor blade, slot die extrusion and micro-gravure coating. Users can freely switch modes according to material properties. Whether for high-viscosity hot melt adhesives (suitable for doctor blade / slot die coating) or low-viscosity functional coatings (suitable for micro-gravure coating), all processing can be completed on one machine, greatly expanding the scope of laboratory trials.

2.Although the Doctor Blade, Slot Die & Micro-Gravure Coating Machine with 2m Oven is a laboratory-scale unit, its coating precision reaches up to 0.005 mm. Combined with high-precision die head and roller machining technology, it guarantees uniformity and consistency of the coated layer. It perfectly addresses the industry pain point of poor precision for ultra-thin coatings and meets the R&D requirements of high-end functional films.

3.Equipped with a 2-meter oven, the overall length of the machine is only approximately 5.2 meters (in comparison, the 6-meter oven version reaches 8.2 meters). It is highly suitable for laboratories with limited space. Despite its compact footprint, the curing temperature ranges from 0 to 200°C, and the maximum coating speed hits 15 m/min. It is capable of rapid drying and small-batch trial production for most solvent-based or water-based coatings.

4.The machine adopts a 550 mm guide roller width and an effective coating width adjustable from 0 to 500 mm. It can process common substrates such as paper and plastic films, as well as rigid substrates including metal foils. Both direct coating and transfer lamination processes are supported, offering outstanding flexibility for new material development.

5.The Doctor Blade, Slot Die & Micro-Gravure Coating Machine with 2m Oven adopts industrial power supply specification: 3-phase AC 380V / 20KW, and requires compressed air at 0.5–0.8 MPa. This configuration ensures stable tension control and fast response of pneumatic components during operation, guaranteeing repeatable test data from sampling to small-batch production.

6.The total machine weight is about 2,500 Kg, lighter than large-scale production lines. The high-precision modular design simplifies installation and commissioning with plug-and-run capability, making it an ideal solution for medium-sized laboratories to verify multiple formulas and coating processes.
