•Designed for laboratory substrate and slurry evaluation, this coating machine supports slurries with viscosities ranging from 1,000 to 15,000 mPa·s. The interchangeable slot-die and doctor-blade coating heads provide flexibility for testing different coating methods and process conditions.

•The machine features oversized guide rollers and a large-diameter backing roller with a specified surface accuracy of 1 μm. It is designed to handle substrates with thicknesses ranging from 15um to 35um.

•Compared with the 2 m drying ovens commonly used on small laboratory coating machines, the 6 m drying oven provides a longer drying path and is divided into six temperature zones. The 6 m drying oven is divided into six independent 1 m heating zones, each with separate temperature control. The temperature control accuracy is within ±2°C. This allows temperature conditions to be adjusted along the drying path, helping water-based slurries that are difficult to dry achieve more complete drying, from the surface through to the deeper layers. Even at the same web speed, the extended drying path provides more time for moisture removal.
